Open reference ↗Released by the United States Mint on March 3, 2005, the regular Proof Set brings together five State Quarters, two new-design Jefferson nickels, the Kennedy half dollar, Roosevelt dime, Lincoln cent, and Sacagawea Golden Dollar. The coins carry the San Francisco S mint mark and are preserved in two display lenses.
Original Mint price: $22.95 (official). A reported 2,275,000 sets is a secondary collector-catalogue figure, not an official mintage claim here. The Silver Proof Set and stand-alone State Quarter products are separate editions.
